“The Outsiders” is about the struggles of 14 year old, Ponyboy Curtis. Where Ponyboy lives, Tulsa, Oklahoma, there’s two types of people, “greasers,” who Ponyboy belongs to, and the upper class “socs.” A gut-wrenching and beautiful book of turmoil and tragedy, I wanted to represent it’s emotional intensity and the tight-knit family dynamic of the greasers in my cover.
